AGE: idk mid-20s season 1 act 1, early 30s season 1 act 2 - season 2 act 1, plus 4 - 6 months season 2 acts 2/3
QUICK BACKGROUND: kid from the undercity works his way up to dean's assistant at the fancy topside academy but aspires to greater things. meets a guy on trial for science crimes and convinces him to do additional science crimes. these particular science crimes are profitable for rich people so he gets to do more (legal) science until politics/class divisions/the consumption/competing desires to weaponize his tech/general unrest make things increasingly fraught for basically everyone. invents a magic AI (everyone disliked that) and uses it for even worse science crimes in various escalating attempts to not die. fucks around and finds out.
QUICK PERSONALITY: soft-spoken but quietly ambitious. obsessive workaholic. curious, intellectual, reckless, idealistic. little tolerance for politicking. dry sense of humor. increasingly preoccupied with legacy and tangibly improving the undercity with the time he has left. breaking rules is fine and good actually. progress at any cost, or so he thinks. season 2 sees him more emotionally subdued in the real world, but committed to using his abilities to better the undercity, if only to atone for his transgressions. maybe also slightly under the influence of a greater cosmic power. don't worry about it.

PHYSICAL AFFECTION: sure! he doesn't seem adverse to casual/friendly/affectionate touching but is pretty indifferent when it comes to active flirting

RELATIONSHIPS: lmao, yes but he's big stupid and married to his job
MENTAL INFO: oh you know could be better. I think it's pretty well hinted that he knows he's dying (just not the timeline) long before it's made explicit to the audience, so there is definitely some of that going on. if you play a telepath/empath/psychic/mind reader and need more information about what you might find in there, just let me know. in his s1 state he is unable to detect any mental intrusions. as of s2 hope you like chilling with him (and the the hexcore slash psychic manifestation of his guilt) on the astral plane. either way, he might not take kindly to it.
PHYSICAL INFO: viktor is terminally ill with some kind of mystery degenerative disease brought about by the shitty/cancerous living conditions of a childhood in zaun and it kind of shows!! this is independent of but exacerbates his physical disability—his right leg has limited functionality (the exact cause/nature of this is unclear) and he's used a cane since childhood. post-s1 timeskip he uses a crutch and leg brace, wears a back brace, and seems to have some kind of spinal implant(s). as of season 2, he has been forcibly fused with the hexcore and is made of living metal, with his orthoses permanently integrated.
MAGICAL INFO: uhhh he's fuckin around with some shit that's for sure. he has no magical powers of his own but is kind of irresponsibly messing with a continuously-evolving magic conduit that he does not fully understand but feeds his blood to anyway (yikes). magically-inclined characters may be able to pick up on this connection. post-complete fusion, he acquires has many poorly-defined and frankly ridiculous powers that include but are not limited to: status as primary consciousness of a hivemind, healing via physical, metal-flavored augmentation (side effect: hivemind), possession/ability to speak through followers, touched-based Insight (read: he can see ur past and ur thoughts), and access to a psychic plane (with related transcendental perception). this power is finite and nebulously diminishing, so he's effectively still dying, which is great. sometimes he floats.
GENERAL CONTENT WARNINGS FOR: terminal illness, rumination on said terminal illness, science crimes, self-harm (as part of science crimes), drug use, suicidal ideation, themes of trans/posthumanism, dissociation/derealization, loss of identity/self, hivemind shenanigans, ableism (internalized and experienced), body horror (of the techno-organic/biomechanical flavor), hackin' up blood into a handkerchief at plot relevant moments
