✥ DEAL-BREAKER SCENARIOS: although Viktor himself seems somewhat accustomed to casual ableism, and will generally shrug off less egregious offenses, I'd like to avoid more aggressive scenarios, including but not limited to the deliberate use of slurs and the taking, immobilizing, damaging/destroying, or otherwise withholding of his mobility aids, etc. it's not fun for him, it's not fun for me, and unless we get on the same page first and actively communicate for the duration of the interaction, it's pretty much a CR insta-kill. beyond that I am old and jaded and cool with pretty much everything else, as long as we chat about it first.

✥ PHYSICAL VIOLENCE LIMITS: yeah go for it, but you're a bad person. I'm cool with everything up to death, but if you're going to like, break bones or amputate stuff we should probably talk first. he's fragile.
✥ OPEN TO MANIPULATION? yes. Viktor has some street smarts but he can be slightly naïve and idealistic about the applications of his work and has a pretty big blind spot when it comes to science and magic being a net benefit for society. easily exploitable, I would say!!
✥ ...AND MIND CONTROL? sure, but, uh, you might have some competition.
✥ WHAT KIND OF MENTAL PRESENCE DO THEY HAVE: increasingly preoccupied with legacy and making good use of the time he has left. highly empathetic—the purpose of scientific advancement is to mitigate human suffering. breaking rules is fine and good actually. progress can't wait.
✥ ...AND MAGICAL? Viktor has no magical ability of his own but prior to arrival here was fucking around with a fancy evolving arcane conduit that seems to have made some kind of connection to him. those able to sense magic in others might be able to pick up on the fact that he's got something a little spooky going on.
✥ RELATIONSHIPS: not opposed to in game shipping with appropriate development but also he's big stupid and married to his research and also preoccupied with his impending death. he likely wouldn't want to put anyone through that.
✥ WHAT PUSHES THEIR BUTTONS: complacency. a lack of intellectual curiosity and passive acceptance of the status quo. the general slow-walking of various innovations that have the potential to genuinely improve lives. being coddled or otherwise treated as delicate or less than capable.
✥ WARNINGS ON THEIR LABEL: Viktor is terminally ill with a degenerative condition that is vaguely defined but basically presents as fantasy consumption. generally speaking, he looks unwell (pale, gaunt, eyebags for days, noticeably underweight) and coughs a lot, if your character is the type to pay attention to such things. his illness is independent of but exacerbates his physical disability; he uses a crutch and supportive brace to compensate for his right leg, and less visibly wears a back brace and has spinal implants.

General content warnings include terminal illness and related existential contemplation (including possible suicidal ideation), intent to self-harm and abuse substances in pursuit of Science, coughing up blood into a handkerchief at plot relevant moments.
